Steal a Chicken Changelog
Verified dates only. No invented Update 9 numbers.
This changelog is a dated list of facts we can pin to Roblox. It is not a leak blog. If a change is only a Discord rumor, it does not get a version number here.
13 August 2026 — launch
Kibrix Runner creates Steal a Chicken (universe 10694549945, place 76503495566299). Genre flags: Simulation / Tycoon. Max players: 5. Avatar type: R15. The experience is free. Platforms: desktop, console, mobile, tablet.
The loop described to players: steal chickens from nests, Guard chase, bat other thieves so they drop chickens, eggs from penned birds, Merchant sales, treadmill Speed, bigger pens, night restocks.
24 August 2026 — gamepasses
Four Robux passes go on sale for this universe:
- Starter Pack — 99 Robux
- V.I.P — 199 Robux
- x2 Growth — 350 Robux
- x2 Money — 399 Robux
Official descriptions are empty. Names and prices come from the live gamepass API. HUD grants are the rest. Full shop notes live on VIP gamepasses. x2 Money and x2 Growth were touched again on 25 August.
28 August 2026 — badges
Three badges exist:
- Welcome — nearly everyone who loads in.
- Rainbow Trail! — a minority, cosmetic or trail flex.
- Cosmic Zone — a smaller minority, late-map clear.
From this date, Cosmic Zone is a tracked thing, not a comment-section myth. Rainbow Trail is also real. Neither badge prints a Speed number. You still train on the treadmill.
5 September 2026 — how-to-play video + listing still current
A public how-to-play video for place 76503495566299 covers nests, the Guard, bats, eggs, the Merchant, the treadmill, and pen size, plus the two listed codes. It lives on the getting started page. The official description still prints Crystal and Relax; this wiki does not add a third string from a thumbnail.
5 September 2026 — listing still current
The official description still prints:
- New codes: Crystal / Relax (see codes).
- Like the game and join the group for +10K Speed.
- The full nest / Guard / bat / eggs / Merchant / treadmill / pen / night loop.
If you are reading this later and the description differs, the description wins. Move dead codes to expired in your head until this wiki catches up.
Still unconfirmed (on purpose)
- Exact egg $/s tables.
- Named biome list copied from Steal an Egg.
- What V.I.P / Starter Pack actually grant (official blurbs are empty; see gamepasses).
- A long-form developer patch blog.
- Extra codes beyond Crystal and Relax.
Unconfirmed does not mean “we filled it with guesses.” It means we did not write it. Play the HUD.
What to do after a real patch
- Re-redeem codes. New strings appear in the same box. See how to redeem.
- Re-read Speed. A Guard buff makes getting started relevant again.
- Re-rank the pen with the chicken tier list.
- Ignore thumbnail math. Art tiles are not changelogs.
When Kibrix Runner publishes numbered updates, they will land as extra dated headings here. Until then, this page stays short and true.
How to read a silent week
A week without a new heading is not a dead game. It means the description did not change. Keep stealing. Keep selling. Re-check Crystal and Relax once per session, not once per minute. Night restocks are not patches. Badge awards going up is not a patch. A friend saying “they nerfed the Guard” is not a patch until your kite feels different two nights in a row.
If the Guard does feel different, train more before you rewrite the tier list. Feel is not a date. When we get a date, it will sit in this file with a heading. Until then, the playable changelog is still: steal from nests, bat thieves, sell eggs, treadmill, night restock.
If Kibrix Runner ever ships a numbered update in the title, we will quote the title string exactly. We will not round it to “Update 9” because another chicken game used that phrase. Precision is the only reason this page exists.
As of 6 September 2026 the live listing still showed about 1.18 million visits, roughly 2,700 concurrent players, 1,918 favorites, and a 96 percent like ratio (1,889 up / 78 down). Badge awards the same day: Welcome ~470k, Rainbow Trail ~46k (13.7%), Cosmic Zone ~14.5k (4.7%). Codes still Crystal and Relax. Those numbers are a snapshot, not a patch.
