Steal a Chicken Guides
First-hour route, steal technique, pen defense, Speed, and the Cosmic badge.
This hub is the map of every Steal a Chicken guide on the wiki. The game is simple to start and easy to throw. You steal chickens from nests, the Guard chases you, other players bat you so you drop the bird, your pen lays eggs, and the Merchant turns those eggs into cash for Speed. Read the pages below in order if you are new. Jump to Cosmic only after Speed is real.
Kibrix Runner’s listing is the ruleset we write against: steal from nests, run from the Guard, bat thieves, farm eggs, sell at the Merchant, treadmill for Speed, bigger pen for more chickens, new chickens every night, like-and-join for +10K Speed, and the two listed codes. Guides here do not copy Steal an Egg biome tables. If a nest label in your server disagrees with a rumor, trust the nest.
Start here
- Getting started — first session: redeem, steal, pen, Merchant, treadmill.
- How to steal — nest timing, Guard kites, night restocks.
- How to protect — bat trades, drop recovery, pen discipline.
- Controls — desktop, mobile, console, and tablet binds.
New players lose birds because they steal the rainbow nest first. Steal a cheap chicken, bank it, then hunt. The promotional thumbnails show a horned purple Guard and rainbow eggs; that is the fantasy. Your first ten minutes should look boring and full.
Money and Speed
- Merchant and eggs — carry path, sell timing, what not to pocket during a chase.
- Treadmill Speed — why Speed is the real unlock, group bonus, when to train versus steal.
Cash without Speed feeds the Guard. Speed without a pen wastes night resets. Alternate Merchant trips and treadmill sits until you can hold a mid nest without getting tagged. Then look at the chicken tier list so you stop parking junk in your only slots.
Late map and the listing extras
- Night restock — new chickens every night, where to stand, what does not refill.
- Pen upgrades — bigger pen, more chickens, how eggs buy the next slot.
- Rainbow Trail — the minority badge, and why glow is not a Cosmic pass.
- Cosmic Zone — the badge about 4.7% of players hold, Speed walls, and why under-leveled Cosmic runs donate birds.
- VIP gamepasses — Starter Pack, V.I.P, x2 Growth, x2 Money. Names and prices are live; official blurbs are empty.
Cosmic is not a secret menu. It is a zone with a Guard that will flatten a slow carry. Treat the badge as a warning label, not a FOMO timer. Night restocks help farmers; they also restock the players who already have Speed.
How these guides connect
Every steal guide assumes you already redeemed Crystal and Relax. Every Speed guide assumes you already joined Kibrix Runner. Every Cosmic guide assumes you can kite the early Guard. If a page repeats a fact, it is because players skip hubs. Cross-links inside each article point at the next decision, not at a second copy of the same paragraph.
If you are here for client extras, that is the scripts hub, not a guide. Guides teach the intended loop. Scripts are a separate risk. Leaderboard hunters live on the players pages. Patch notes live on updates.
Play the official experience, steal one nest, bank one bird, sell one egg, then come back. The wiki is faster when you have died to the Guard once.
