Night Restock in Steal a Chicken

New chickens every night. Be in the pen or on a nest lip, not in a duel.

Night Restock

The Roblox listing for Steal a Chicken prints one line that most players treat as flavor: new chickens every night. It is not flavor. Night is the map’s restock. Nests that were picked clean fill again. Cosmic birds that someone already donated can return. The Guard does not take the night off. This page is how to play the flip instead of dying to it.

If you have not banked a first chicken, read getting started first. Night does not save an empty pen. It only restocks the sand.

What night actually restocks

Night restocks nest chickens. It does not restock your eggs. It does not restock your Speed. It does not restock a dropped bird that a rival already picked up. If you are holding eggs when the sky changes, you still have eggs. If you are in a kite, you still have a Guard.

Treat the flip as a shop restock with a timer you cannot pause. The five-player server sees the same flip. Everyone who was AFK on the treadmill suddenly wants the same rainbow nest. That is why farmers who sell first and stand second beat highlight hunters who start the kite at the worst second.

Where to stand before the flip

  • In your pen, empty-handed, with a free slot. Best default.
  • On the treadmill if Speed is the bottleneck and you will skip this restock on purpose.
  • On a nest lip you already scouted, empty-handed, if you can kite that Guard on a carry. See how to steal.
  • Not in the Merchant line with a backpack of eggs. Sell first. The Merchant will still be there after the flip. The rainbow nest will not.

If two hunters are already camped on Cosmic, skip Cosmic. Night restocks mid nests too. A banked B-tier layer beats a Cosmic donation. The tier list still decides what is worth the first grab.

The first thirty seconds after night

  1. Confirm you have a slot. A restock steal into a full pen is a parade.
  2. Grab one bird, not a window-shop. The Guard wakes on the first pickup.
  3. Run the line you already walked. Do not invent a new kite because the sky looks cool.
  4. Bank. Wait one beat. Then either sell eggs or sit. Chaining a second Cosmic grab is how the leash you forgot still exists.

If you get tagged, leave the drop unless you are clearly first. Night drops attract the whole server. Third-party bats are the tax. How to protect still applies. Night does not make bats slower.

Night versus Cosmic greed

The Cosmic Zone badge sits on a small slice of players because people treat night as a permission slip. It is not. Night restocks the nest. It does not restock your Speed. If early Guards still tag a straight carry at dusk, sit through the flip. The next night will also restock. Your account will still exist.

If Cosmic is stocked and you already passed the Speed planner checks, night is the best time to go because the nest is full, not because the lighting is dramatic. Empty Cosmic camps after someone else already cleared the flip are tours of the Guard.

Pen size and night

A bigger pen is how night compounds. One slot means you steal one bird and watch the rest of the restock become someone else’s farm. Pen upgrades turn a night into two or three parked layers. Eggs from those layers fund the next treadmill sit. That is the loop the listing describes: bigger pen, more chickens, more eggs, more Speed, better nights.

Do not buy a slot you cannot defend. Night also restocks hunters. A wide pen of C-tier whites is a buffet if you never read protection.

What not to do

  • Do not start a Merchant trip thirty seconds before the flip with a full egg stack.
  • Do not redeem Crystal and Relax during the kite. Codes are for spawn, not for the restock animation.
  • Do not open a script GUI over the nest. Five players can see you standing still.
  • Do not argue in chat about whether night already happened. Look at the nests.

Night is a clock, not a loot table. Stand where a steal can finish. Bank one bird. Let the rest of the server fight the rainbow you did not need.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Steal a Chicken questions.

Does night restock my eggs?

No. Night restocks nest chickens. Eggs you already hold stay in your hands until you sell them at the Merchant.

Should I Cosmic at night?

Only if Speed and a free slot already pass the Cosmic Zone checks. Night fills the nest; it does not make you faster.

Where should I stand before the flip?

Empty-handed in the pen, or on a nest lip you already scouted. Not in a Merchant line.

Does night reset Speed?

No. Speed stays. Train on the treadmill if the Guard still tags you at dusk.
