How we decide a code is dead

A code is expired only when it leaves the official description and the in-game redeem UI rejects it on a fresh session. One failed tap on mobile is not enough. Fat-fingered Crystal attempts fail while the code is still live. We re-check after a listing update, not after a single invalid toast.

If Kibrix Runner adds a third code for a visit milestone or a Cosmic event, that new string starts on the live hub. It only lands here after it dies. Do not assume event codes last the whole night cycle. Night restocks chickens; it does not refresh codes.
